SUN-DOR-CO Door
Bottoms
Door bottoms are located along the bottom of the door to seal out the
weather. Remember it is very important that the door be properly sealed
on the bottom edge prior to installing the door bottom.
Automatic Door Bottom
An automatic door bottom is a unique device that pushes down against
the sill or threshold when the door is closed then retracts as the
door opens. This type of door bottom is very effective when used
with a solid one-piece wood sill. Because of the flush bolt, we
recommend other types of door bottoms when double doors are ordered.

Aluminum Drip Edge and Vinyl Bottom
The drip edge channels the water away from the door and down the
slope of the sill. The vinyl on the bottom compresses as the door
is closed and may be adjusted when used with solid wood sills.

Aluminum with Vinyl Bottom
This type of door bottom works well with aluminum sills that have
adjustable thresholds.

Bulb and Fin Door Bottom
(copy) This door bottom provides the most effective seal when
used with the regular or deluxe combination aluminum sill and adjustable
threshold. Notice how the bulb is forced out over the leading edge
of the adjustable threshold to form a tight seal.
